Welcome to The Video Box Co. ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing our products, services, or courses, or by visiting our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). EFFECTIVE DATE: January 1st, 2020.
We provide physical marketing products (like custom video boxes), video production services, and digital educational materials such as the Video Box Secrets course. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit access to our products or services at any time without prior notice.
All orders are subject to acceptance by The Video Box Co. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation via email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, particularly in cases of errors in pricing or availability. Payment is due in full upon checkout AND prior to printing or production, unless otherwise specified. We accept payment via Credit Card, Wire / ACH Transfer. Orders are not considered confirmed until payment is received in full.
The Video Box Co. retains a security interest in all products, materials, and creative assets (including video files, designs, and any materials provided by the Client) until full payment has been received. This means that we reserve the right to retain or reclaim any delivered or in-progress items if payment is not completed.
In the event of non-payment, The Video Box Co. may take steps to protect its interest, including filing appropriate legal documents. If the Client fails to resolve the outstanding balance within 60 days of written notice, The Video Box Co. reserves the right to sell, repurpose, or otherwise use the produced materials to recover the owed amount.
Random Video Box Samples: If you are unhappy for any reason, Full refunds are available within 7 days of receiving a Random Video box Sample. To qualify for a refund, the Random Video Box Sample must be shipped back to us at your expense and be in like-new, undamaged condition to qualify for a refund.
Custom Video Box Orders (Including Custom Samples): Due to the highly custom nature of what we do and how the production process works, ALL SALES ARE FINAL & NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED. Once an order is placed and your design files have been approved, cancellations or changes may not be possible. Client acknowledges that cancellations or modifications to an order of Custom Video Boxes are only allowed before the final design files have been submitted to printing. Once your design files have been submitted to printing, any request for cancellation or modification must be submitted in writing within a 48 hour period. The Video Box Co. reserves the right to deny any request.
After the 48 hour period, The Client agrees to accept delivery of, and pay for, all work completed. If the changes to the order result in a price adjustment, the total order amount will be updated to reflect the new pricing. If the Client cancels the order for any reason, after the 48 hour window, the Client will be responsible for the full payment of the order and agrees to accept delivery of all products that have been, or are in the process of being produced. In the event the client cancels the order, No Refund will be issued. They will receive a credit for the corresponding amount that can be used for a future order with us. Credits Expire And Must Be Used Within 12 months Of Being Issued.
Courses & Digital Products: Refunds for the Video Box Secrets course are available within 7 days of purchase, provided less than 20% of the content has been accessed. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
For Custom Video Box Orders, the average turn around time is 2.5 - 3 weeks from the time your design files have been approved. Timelines are not guaranteed. We primarily use UPS or USPS for most shipments. Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
Risk of Loss: Once an order is shipped, the risk of loss or damage transfers to you. If your package is lost or damaged, we will work directly with the carrier to resolve the issue, but we do not assume responsibility for the loss or damage.
Address Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided to us is correct. We are not liable for undelivered packages due to incorrect addresses.
Once an order has been shipped, the risk of loss, damage, or destruction of the goods passes to the Client. Any such issues do not release the Client from their payment obligations under this agreement. If a shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, it is the Client’s responsibility to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.
All custom Video Box orders must be fulfilled within 12 months of the original purchase date. “Fulfillment” means the Client must provide all necessary materials (such as logos, branding, video content, copy, artwork, and any other required assets), approve proofs or drafts when applicable, and be responsive to communication regarding the project.
If the Client does not engage in the production process or submit required materials within this 12-month period, The Order Will Be Considered Expired, And No Refund Or Credit Will Be Issued. This policy applies to all custom orders placed after January 1st, 2020, including those placed during promotional periods.
It is the Client’s responsibility to initiate and participate in the fulfillment process. The Video Box Co. will make reasonable efforts to follow up, but ultimately the timeline for order completion is the Client’s responsibility.
All materials we create, including videos, designs, and marketing content, remain the property of The Video Box Co. You are granted a limited license to use these materials only for the purpose they were created. The license does not transfer ownership. Restrictions: You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute any of our materials without explicit written permission.
The Video Box Co. does not accept or replicate content that contains sexually explicit material, excessive violence, or language that would typically require a “Parental Advisory” or receive an R or X rating by industry standards. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to reject any media that we consider inappropriate or offensive.
If such content is submitted and production has already begun, we may choose to halt or destroy any materials produced and the Client will be responsible for all costs incurred up to that point. We strongly encourage Clients to confirm content suitability before submitting materials for production. You agree that you will not submit, post, or request materials that: Violate any laws or regulations; Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others; Contain harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
We reserve the right to refuse service or production of any content that violates these standards.
The Video Box Co. warrants that all physical products are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. If any product is found to be defective due to manufacturing error, we will, at our discretion, either replace the defective product or issue a refund for the effected product within 30 days from the date of receipt.
This warranty does not apply to:
Damage resulting from improper use, handling, or storage of the product by the Client. Products that have been altered or customized by the Client. Any damage incurred during shipping (please refer to the “Risk of Loss” clause for shipping damage procedures). Defects or damages related to the Client's own provided materials or equipment (e.g., video files, computers, etc.).
Custom Products
As most of our products are custom-made for the Client, we do not offer returns or refunds on products that meet the specifications provided by the Client, unless a manufacturing defect is identified.
The Client is solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable sales, use, or other taxes related to their purchase.
The Video Box Co.’s liability is strictly limited to the replacement of any product that is found to have a manufacturing defect. We are not responsible for any other damages or claims, including but not limited to:
- Loss or damage to client-supplied materials (e.g., video files, artwork, or text). Clients are responsible for keeping original copies of all submitted content.
- Damage, loss, or delays caused by shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, USPS). Issues with the inclusion or exclusion of content from client-supplied audio or video masters.
- Errors related to client-supplied text or content, including incorrect or missing color specifications.
- Defects resulting from client-supplied equipment, or damages to client equipment believed to be caused by our product.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or business interruption.
- Costs incurred by the Client without prior written approval from The Video Box Co.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Video Box Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service in question.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated Terms will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.
